Lois, this is exquisitely composed and so naturally beautiful with the yellow light, flora and this gorgeous Cardinal! Fantastic! Your beautiful image has been featured by Wild Birds Of The World, a nature photography group. L/F

Lois Bryan replied:

William, thank you so much. This is my darling Pip ... he was practically my pet ... definitely my dear friend of many years standing. We moved in 2015 ... and I miss him terribly!!! I have hopes of someday having another cardinal best friend here at the new house ... hasn't happened yet, though!!!! But fingers remain crossed!!!! Thank you again for your lovely note and of course for the honor of the feature!!! i will tweet the group!!!!

This is lovely Lois, I chased one of these little fellers all around St. Augustine whilst on holiday last week and finally got a shot of him, but I'm afraid the light wasn't as magical as yours. L/F/Tw

He is so very beautiful! I have not seen a Red Cardinal in a long Time..F/V

Lois Bryan replied:

Thank you, Roger and Terrie. They are very territorial. If you have them in your area, attract them with black oiler sunflower seeds ... then once they've established their home base, they'll hang around all the time!!!
