The magic of a sunny drive through the countryside on an autumn afternoon is hard to match. As the clouds roll over the fields and forests, covering and revealing the brilliance of the leaves, we almost gasp at the colors around every corner.
"Autumn's Fire" is a brighter, slightly more colorful version of an old favorite which is also available in my portfolio here (Autumn's Glow). As a photographer, one of the things we wait and wait for is the perfect alignment of lighting and background and subject. A scene such as this can look very different from minute to minute based on where those clouds are located. That's why I decided to punch this image up a little bit from the previous version, to give it just a bit more light and color.
I love autumn!!!
Image sketched and painted by hand, digitally, and very loosely based on my own photo using Corel Painter, a Wacom tablet, the art pen stylus and a wide variety of beautiful digital brushes.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
