Description
It's our favorite time of year, and we're in our favorite spot. Autumn bathes the Shenandoah Valley in colors of rusts and golds and oranges. In the distance, the mountains of the Blue Ridge glow amethyst, topped by a meringue of tumbling clouds. Across the field before us cuts the silvery ribbon of one of the great Shenandoah River's tributaries. At this point, she burbles and sings ... accompanied by the trills of the birds in the skies.
We must be in heaven!
This image was created entirely from my imagination, not photo based or even referenced, and digitally hand-painted in Corel Painter with a tablet and stylus, utilizing many of the currently popular Bob Ross brushes.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

I really love this piece. It seems like such a peaceful place and I have to assume the flock of birds would add the perfect sound.
