Description
An old wooden fence cuts across a field of wildflowers on top of Blue Knob Mountain, a part of the Laurel Highlands of the Appalachians, just as the sun begins to set on a glorious spring evening. Above the distant mountain range which has caught the changing color in the hazy air, a layer of curly clouds transform from soft whites to peaches and roses and blues.
"The magic of Blue Knob" is an expression my husband and his friends have used for many years. It usually refers to skiing conditions and unexpected snow storms but to me it also means the brilliance of autumn or the sweet softness of spring.
Blue Knob All Seasons Resort is located in Central Pennsylvania and includes skiing and snow boarding in winter and golfing and hiking in spring, summer and fall.
This image is my own photo (not from stock or public domain) which has been treated to a few tweaks in Photoshop. It was not created using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
