Digital Art - Digital Art / Non-photography Based Digital Hand-painting
It's a sunny, hazy late spring day, the kind of day when your winter-eyes almost hurt from the bright pastels of the landscape. A frothy stream bubbles at your bare feet and sings into the distance where the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains form the eastern border of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. In the heights above, tumbling clouds pick up the colors of the sun, and playfully toss and boil over the mountain tops which often hold back the storms that batter the lands on the far side.
As is often the case here, a lone tree stands quietly in an otherwise fallow field. Is it almost time to begin the plowing ... or will a herd of cattle soon take over the meadow? If so, they'll find the shade of the tree a welcome relief as summer approaches and the bright, sunny days grow longer and warmer.
This image was created entirely from my imagination, not photo based or even referenced, and digitally hand-painted in Corel Painter with a tablet and stylus, utilizing many of the currently popular Bob Ross brushes.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
