Description
In the distance, a series of seven sail boats skim the waters of Long Island Sound beyond Greenwich Point, Connecticut on a sunny spring day. The crisp breezes that fill the sails also skitter the clouds above and create the gentlest of wavelets that roll onto the golden shore where we stand.
Don't you love the way the deeper blues of the waters mirror the lighter tones of the sky above. Our clothes and hair are whipped by the same winds ... how we wish we could be out there on the water too ... it's a great day for a sail!!
Photo taken with the Nikon D7000 and the 18-200mm Nikkor lens on May 31, 2014.

Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Wish I were right there. Those clouds in the distance and the sense of vast beauty is wonderful Lois. F/L/TW.

Beautiful photograph of a great beach scene, with great colors, light, and composition, Lois! A scene very familiar to me as I swam along this beach for many years! Nicely done! F/L
