A view of the beautiful and historic Ashness Bridge in the Lakes District of the UK on a bright May morning. The stream is full and the water rushes down in what seems like a joyful burst of enthusiasm for the sunlight and warm day ... Mother Nature's way of celebrating the release of winter.
The original photo on which this is loosely based was taken by my son, Rich Bryan, while he was studying in Edinburgh, Scotland, a few years ago. I modeled the colors in this after Monet's "Woman With A Parasol" and hope the brush and textural elements have a bit of the look of an impressionist piece.
Image painted by hand, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my son, Rich Bryan's photos. I used Corel Painter, a Wacom tablet and stylus and a variety of thick paint and texture brushes.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
