Description
We don't often see skies with colorful cloud formations like this so far inland ... so when they do happen, out come the cameras. What made this unusual, other than the vivid colors and intricate formations is, the front of this massive cloud system came from east to west ... usually it's the other way around here.
Image taken from my back deck in Maryland, on an early April evening in 2008, with the Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm Nikkor lens.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
